A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Kira and photographing her for a casual, autumn photoshoot.
I was so excited when she reached out to ask if I offer headshots!
Kira recently joined a new start up and needed to submit a headshot. Her previous one was a bit outdated and she wanted something modern and professional.
I met her at my favorite place to shoot headshots – the Rutgers Business School. Its tall, modern, buildings offer so much variety! We got creative and did a variety of sitting and standing poses.
The day was very windy, but we were determined to get the next shot.
Kira envisioned her headshot in front of the icy blue glass walls of the building while wearing her pink blazer.
She had seen my work with other clients in front of the same wall.
After a few attempts, we finally got the shot!
It was worth being patient and waiting for the perfect moment.
It was so good to see her again and photograph her as a professional businesswoman.
