Professional Branding Portraits | Newark NJ

Earlier this year I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Keelin’s branding portraits.

Branding portraits are an elevated version of headshots. They are usually much more creative and storytelling. Keelin is a certified life coach from New Jersey. She wanted something creative and engaging to showcase her personality.

I am so excited to share Keelin’s session!

I can capture a headshot almost anywhere, (I’m serious too!) but branding portraits usually require more more space.

We found a wonderful studio in Newark, Creators Village. It was a perfect space for our needs! It was well decorated, well designed, and had lots of little areas to get a variety of creative shots.

Before any branding session, I require my client to share a collection of images with me to pull inspiration from for the shoot. I also require makeup images to share with the makeup artist!

Visuals are necessary to ensure everyone is on the same page. Branding portraits are a collaborative process, and it will always be my goal to achieve the results you desire!

Our makeup artist, Alexandra, did a fantastic job with Keelin’s makeup! Alexandra kept the makeup simple but classic for Keelin.

Keelin brought props to get casual and detail shots. We had a mug, books, a laptop, pencils and journals! Engaging with props in branding portraits adds that layer of storytelling and variety.

A big thank you goes out to everyone involved in achieving this photo session for Keelin and her ventures. It was so much fun working with her and I am so pleased at how satisfied she was with the results!
